Kilner Goods began when I made a simple tote bag from a vintage leather jacket I found at a thrift store. I began to make more, work on the style I liked, incorporated vintage fabrics and textiles, and eventually found my niche – unique, useable bags that don’t look cookie cutter 😉 I love a good patchwork, a little 70s, a little bit edgy, a little bit quirky.

I now use both new and vintage leathers, both have their own benefits: vintage has a story and a look; new has so many possibilities! I’ve taken over a room in my home, designing and creating these bags and I’m always striving to learn new techniques, improve my skills, and use new-to-me materials, in order to keep creative and enthusiastic about making these babies!
